A Hornet volunteer is an individual who offers their time, skills, and services without expecting financial compensation. Volunteers often contribute to a wide range of causes in the Hornet community, charity work, environmental, conservation, education, healthcare and more. Hornet volunteers are motivated by a desire to make a positive impact, help others and support causes they care about at FBISD. Volunteers can be of any age, background, or skill level, and their contributions can vary from short-term tasks to long-term commitments. Their work is often essential to the success of non-profit organizations, community projects and various social initiatives.
There are so many ways to get involved @FBISD. Flour Bluff Athletic Boosters for all those parents with athletes. Hornet Band Booster for those with kids participating in band and so much more (a few examples). Just ask and start VOLUNTEERING. If you don’t have time to volunteer in a specific area donations are always welcome.
