I was reading al lot of comments after the FB Hornet game Friday night and I really could not believe some of the comments. Many slip into “sports commentator mode: because it feels natural to narrate, hype, or analyze how they think the game is going or should have gone. Some are joking , some are very serious and some are very rude. I read some of the comments after the FB Hornet game against Mexico City and I was saddened by them. Friday night was exhilarating in so many ways. The Hornet band, stingline, cheerleaders, flag boys, trainers and our Hornet players finally got to come together as one and have a great time cheering our boys on. The fans were out in full force taking it all in as Hornet fans always do. Our QB, defense, offense and all the other positions were focused on winning and they did. They played a team that was not equal but Mexico City loves coming here to play because they are treated kindly and with respect. Not every game is going to be won, but win our lose our boys need to know we support them no matter what. If we never score another point I just love being in the presence of such a fun evening. (we will score points)
