The Nueces County 4H Extension awards were held yesterday at the Corpus Christi Country Club and from beginning to end all were smiling and enjoying all the 4H extracurricular activity awards. Guest speaker Judge Connie Scott shared about how great the 4H program was and is to her family but most importantly how GREAT the future looks with such outstanding young people. Many serving in state positions that only makes our County a shining star. 4H has something for everyone.
That beautiful quilt presented to a veteran was created and made by a 4H member. She is a gifted seamstress in the 9th grade.
