August 9th friends and family came together to celebrate a beautiful young lady turning 16.  It was a magical evening and all enjoyed the mariachis, dinner and dance.  The most touching part of the evening was the Father Daughter dance and the Blessing from her priest.  Her brother , David Jr., home from the US Coast Guard got the first CW dance in spite of a beautiful ball gown.  I was in awe of how such a tradition brought so many family members and friends old and new together.  Sara stays busy with school, cheerleading, NCJLS stock show and many…

HORNET HALLS were abuzz today! Today was a day of remembering for the Flour Bluff Hornet Seniors and remember they did.  A little rain did not deter them and they came on the Hornet buses to reflect on how far they had come insect a short time.  The ECC was in awe if seeing this celebration and waited patiently and respectfully to get a senior handshake.  It was heart warming to see this great tradition.  Tomorrow is the big day “GRADUATION”.  Family and friends will be there to cheer their loved one on with clapping and loud voices .  Friday…

The 1st annual “Hornet Huddle” was tonight at Hornet stadium with a tribute to Coach “Capt” Rodgers.  So many fans came to donate to the scholarship program in his memory and it was a beautiful moment in time for our Hornet community.  Coach Rodgers was loved by all who knew him and the O Line will make him proud at every game.  So many came to support this event.  The food was great and watching Coach Elwood get dunked was a really special treat.  Like always he smiled and made sure his hat stayed secure.  The scrimmage was so exciting!…
