    The Coastal Cotillion 2025 Afternoon Delight

    Afternoon Delight

                The Flour Bluff/Padre Island Coastal Cotillion began the new season with a Mother/Daughter event at the elegant home of Mrs. Ashley Gage and daughter Miss Presley Gage were the hostesses for this event.  The “Afternoon Delight” began with a of delicious desserts which included mini cupcakes, decorated cookies made special for the debutantes, fruit and sparkling lemonade.  The dress attire was Sunday apparel. The purpose of this first social event was to introduce all twenty-three girls and their mothers to each other.  The debutantes for the 2025-2026 season are: Miss Natalie Candler, Miss Emmerie Chapa, Miss Samantha Click, Miss JoHanna Copeland, Miss Lola Fisher, Miss Michie Freeborn, Miss Presley Gage, Miss Alexandra Garza, Miss Savannah Gerlach, Miss Zoe Gil, Miss Sophia Koester, Miss Audrey Lee, Miss Morgan Nelson, Miss Camille Neri, Miss Alexandria Orta, Miss Journey Paluseo, Miss Presley Poole, Miss Sadie Rinard, Miss Andrea Sies, Miss Kate Smith, Miss Isabella Taylor, Miss Mya Walker, Miss Emily Williams,

    After the delicious dessert and fruit buffet, the girls were given their packets

    which included information on the Presentaton Ball, social events for the season, dress etiquette for all events, the purpose of R.S.V.P. and thank you notes, and calendars for the rest of the season. Upcoming events include a luncheon, an etiquette workshop, a dress critique and a Christmas ornament exchange.

    The Coastal Cotillion Club is an organization established to educate and enlighten the young women in the Flour Bluff and Padre Island community about the social and educational opportunities available to them as they develop their college and professional careers.  They are offered speakers, workshops, and social functions where they can develop their personal skills as they approach adulthood.  The Coastal Cotillion Club is open to any senior girl attending Flour Bluff High School.

    The Presentation Ball will be held on February 7th, 2026 at the Omni corpus Christi. 

    The Coastal Cotillion board members for 2025-2026 are Flo East, senior advisor, Ms. Susan Lawson and Mrs. Roberta Soward
