Buc Days 2025 has one of the best rodeos and special events for all to enjoy and it seems they had record numbers this year. The Wings Over Texas air show was amazing. It’s been a long time coming but Parker Pool is getting a much needed renovation and the community is going to have a beautiful new pool. For so many years the pool was pieced together and financially supported with community donations and rigging the pump room to keep it functioning. Today was the memorial for Coach Ron Roberts and the community came from far and near to remember a coach I considered ” A Gentle Giant”. Several hundred people came but more inspiring was seeing all the young people whose life he touched. They knew he cared about them. We know that Coach Ron loved his family, his students and his community. Everyone loved the service being held at the athletic facility.
